Important Notice: Two new tools added to CatholicWebHelp.com - 8/17/2004
We have added two new tools to CatholicWebHelp.com to better serve the our members at CatholicWeb. The two new services are described below:

Find Your IP Address: IP Addresses have become more important as CatholicWeb has grown. The larger our web site gets the more we are targeted for viruses, spammers and hackers. We now have the pieces in place that will automatically block a computer or network from using our email if it appears that it is infected with a virus or worm. This block is automatically lifted after a 24 hour period then reactivated if necessary. If you are having problems receiving your email or logging into CatholicWeb Mail please write down your IP Address and submit a trouble ticket to us with it included. We will get back to you with a reason it was blocked. You can also submit a trouble ticket through this link and follow the on screen instructions.

Latest Virus and Hoax Information: These days viruses are a very common problem for most computer users. In an effort to assist our members and users in the fight against these viruses we have added a section to our web site that lists the latest viruses to watch out for. In addition to this we have also added the newest 5 viruses to our home page. Another increasing problem is hoax emails. Hoax emails are sent to millions of people a day with the sole purpose of tricking the recipient into giving out important information about themselves. This information is then used in many different ways including credit card fraud. We have added a list of these email hoaxes to our web site so you know what emails can and should be ignored (deleted).
